I'm Georgina, owner of Core Control Pilates, a mum of two boys living and working in Hertford. I come from a dance and education background and turned my love for Pilates into a career.
I studied with Future Fit School of Pilates and qualified as a level 3 Mat Pilates specialist, certified in Pilates for small equipment, Pilates for common orthopedic conditions, and Pre & Post-natal Pilates. I am also a qualified Nutrition for weight loss adviser, a certified level 2 fitness instructor, and a certified barre instructor.
Pilates helped me re-strengthen my core and pelvic floor muscles after my second baby in 2017, it helped me lose my baby weight and more. Pilates restores control of your body and teaches you how to focus inwards and become more aware of your body. It offers the opportunity to learn how to gain mindful control of your core muscles. I honestly believe that everyone would benefit from doing Pilates.

Holly attended Tring Park, School of Performing Arts, where she trained in all techniques of dance, including Ballet, Contemporary and Musical Theatre. It was at Tring that she was introduced to Pilates and it became an important part of her training and professional career. On leaving Tring Park Holly went on to London Studio Centre and obtained a BA Hons in Theatre and Dance. After graduating She went on to work professionally as a dancer and choreographer for companies including Princess Cruises, Cunard Line and many others. Throughout her training and career Holly has used Pilates to protect her body and to rehabilitate after injuries. She went on to train with Body Arts and Science International (BASI) gaining her qualification for Mat Work and is currently working towards her Comprehensive Certificate.
Holly is looking forward to meeting new clients at Core Control Pilates and using her experience to help people discover the joys and benefits of Pilates.
Holly will be teaching the new 'Back to Basics' Pilates class on a Monday evening at The Mill House.
