I'm Georgina, owner of Core Control Pilates Hertford, a mum of two boys living and working in Hertford. I come from a dance and education background and turned my love for Pilates into a career in 2017 after being introduced to it in over 20 years ago!
I studied with Future Fit School of Pilates and qualified as a level 4 Mat Pilates specialist, certified in Pilates for small equipment, Pilates for common orthopedic conditions, and Pre & Post-natal Pilates and Reformer Pilates. I am also a qualified Nutrition for weight loss adviser, a certified level 2 fitness instructor, and a certified barre instructor.
Pilates restores control of your body and teaches you how to focus inwards and become more aware of your body. It offers the opportunity to learn how to gain mindful control of your core muscles. I honestly believe that everyone would benefit from doing Pilates classes and that mat Pilates is the true magic of Pilates.
Having my own Pilates studio has been a dream and goal of mine since I started teaching and I feel so proud that my very own studio is opened at the end of April 2025! I'm so excited to shared this next part of my Pilates story with you all.

Holly is our in house reformer specialist. With years of experience, Holly has a wide range of knowledge and experience to guide you through the best reformer workouts. Holly is able to modify and adapt each exercise to suit everybody in the class, making her classes suitable for all. Holly brings are more classical style incorporating the true foundations and principles of the pilates method.
Holly attended Tring Park, School of Performing Arts, where she trained in all techniques of dance, including Ballet, Contemporary and Musical Theatre. It was at Tring that she was introduced to Pilates and it became an important part of her training. She then went on to work professionally as a dancer and choreographer. Throughout her training and career she used Pilates to protect her body and to rehabilitate after injuries. Holly then went on to train with Body Arts and Science International (BASI) gaining qualifications for Mat and Reformer Pilates. Holly is also a certified Barre instructor and pre & post natal.

Growing up, Sophie spent many years training in gymnastics, which introduced her early on to the importance of core stability and controlled movement. Her mother, a physiotherapist, later introduced her to Pilates, sharing her deep understanding of the body and movement. Through this experience, Sophie saw firsthand how correct movement can support recovery and transform lives. She began training as a Level 3 Mat Pilates Instructor with HFE and qualified in summer 2025.
Sophie’s teaching approach is inclusive and supportive, with a strong focus on correct form. She is passionate about helping clients improve core stability, restore balance in the body, and support their bodies in moving as they are meant to.

Sophie is a qualified Mat and Reformer Pilates Instructor, with additional qualifications in Pre and Postnatal Pilates. With a lifelong passion for movement and fitness, Pilates has been a constant part of her journey, making the transition into teaching a natural and rewarding step.
Alongside her Pilates practice, Sophie also trains in pole fitness, giving her a unique perspective on strength, mobility, control and body awareness. She brings this knowledge into her classes, helping clients build confidence, move with intention and develop strength from the inside out.
Sophie is passionate about creating supportive, engaging sessions that leave you feeling stronger, more connected to your body and empowered in your movement.
Her classes are all about good movement done well, focusing on form, strength, mobility, injury prevention and rehabilitation, while keeping things enjoyable and engaging. Sophie believes Pilates should feel like something you want to come back to, not a chore on the to-do list.
Expect classes that are focused, effective and a good challenge, with a fun style that keeps you moving and leaves you feeling stronger every time.

Charlotte’s classes are full of sparkle, positivity and endorphin-boosting energy. With a professional background in the performing arts, she expanded her expertise by gaining her Personal Training qualification during lockdown, before going on to build an impressive career in Pilates.
Fresh back from maternity leave, Charlotte is excited to be returning to the studio and sharing her passion for movement once again. She has spent much of her Reformer teaching career at celebrity-favourite studio Zero Gravity Pilates, bringing a wealth of experience, expert knowledge and infectious enthusiasm to every class.
Charlotte prides herself on creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for all abilities, providing a safe space where you can challenge yourself, build confidence and discover the fun in fitness. But don’t be fooled by her sweet aesthetic – she’ll always (safely!) encourage you to push beyond what you thought possible. You’ll leave her classes feeling stronger, energised, incredibly proud of yourself and already looking forward to the next one.

During lockdown, Ella’s love for Pilates grew, and in 2025, after years of personally experiencing its physical and mental benefits, they were inspired to turn their passion into a career. Ella began training with the London Pilates Academy (LPA), first qualifying as a Level 3 Mat Pilates Instructor, and has since gone on to qualify as a Reformer Instructor with LPA. Ella's aim is to help others discover the strength, balance, and clarity that Pilates can bring. Ella's style is a spicy contemporary flow.
